Technical
Training in Flyer`s Paradise
Take off on the top of the Babadag on 1.900 metres
sealevel, flying out to the Lagoon, with 1.600 metres altitude.
Training, training, training and finally a landing at the wonderful
sand beach of Ölüdeniz. Paradisiacal
conditions for a Technical Training with MadMikeKüng.
The
first important point was to adjust the harnesses
of the students. Basic requirement for perfect technical fliying.
Then the most dangerous part of
every Ölüdeniz trip followed: the transfer up to the Babadag
on a narrow-gauged dirt road. On the left and on the right side
steep rugged rocks.
Arrived
at the take off the starting and flying area has been checked. Some
warm-up exercises, last manoeuvre instructions and then:
go!
Mike
demonstrated how to fly and the other pilots tried
to emulate.
Wing Over, Deep Spirals, SATs, Dynamic SATs, Fullstalls, Helicopter,
Twister and Fly Backs
Immer
beobachtet von Mikes analytischem Auge, den Fliegerkollegen
und der Kamera. Nach jeder Landung gab es konstruktive Manöverkritik.
Mike
always kept his analytical eye
on the students. The team mates and
the video camera was strictly observing too. After every landing
Mike gave constructive manoeuvre comments to every pilot. After
an intensive four
days training all pilots attained their goal. They all
made a huge step forward.
The final highlight was a flight into the lonely Butterfly Valley.
For beaching,
relaxing, eating, talking, laughing.
To be continued! Next year in Ölüdeniz…
Sincere thanks to Andreas Schubert and Eva Eisner
from Wasserkuppe Flight School.
Special thanks to Kadri Tuglu from Cloud 9 for
his perfect organisation in
Ölüdeniz.
